Daily Trivia Tourney

If you look to the upper right corner on your monitor you will see that I added a daily trivia tournament. I have been playing with my Castro Valley Moms Club for a while and I noticed today that I can start one too. It's a one quick little sign up and you wont get any spam from them. So let's play!

Good thing it was bath night!

Tonight I gave the girls these Earth's Best teething biscuits. They loved them!! Courtney was a little messier then Syd as you can see!

gymnastics

Friday night means GYMNASTICS! Sam looks forward to it all week. She gets excited and thats all she talks about on Fridays...well it starts on Thursdays after I pick her up from Debbies she starts talking about gymnastics, she has been telling me all day that she is ready to go! And she goes back and forth on who gets to take her. She really wants both her daddy and mommy to take her but one of us has to stay home w the twins. Tonight is was my turn. She has so much fun!!

flu shots

We just got back from the pediatricians office for Courtneys ear infection recheck. All is good but she still has three days left of antibiotics. I had him check Syds ear too because she has been tugging at it but its all clear. She even tugged at it while we were there so he looked again and he said it was clear as a whistle. While we were there the girls got there first flu shot. They had appointments for next week but since I was already paying a copay for Cj today I thought let's do it now and save me another copay next week. I only brought in one pacifer so it could have been a disater but Courtney let out a little cry and she got the pacifer. Then it was Syds turn and I was expecting a loud shrieky cry from her but nothing not even a peep so she didnt need a pacifer but when I put her in the stroller and she saw her sister had one they fought for it until it fell on the ground and then no one had it! Next month they have their year check up and they'll get another round of it plus more shots for that check up. The nurse was impressed that they didnt cry this time but I take in Sam next week and she'll make up the fact that her sister didnt cry...she hates shots!

Twins and Siblings playgroup

Yesterday was twins and sibs playgroup at my house. I didnt bring out my camera so I was waiting for Rachel to post them on her blog so I could steal them...It was another successful day in the backyard. Rachel and Ebba really love our backyard and Rachel even made a comment on her blog that they get to use it when we are gone...I havent told them that we are taking all the play structures with us (the play house is going to Taylor and Domincs) so they'll just have to fly to Phoenix to Howe Park! I am hoping to get a Trampoline too!

3 nights w Namy & Papa

Last Thursday night Namy and Papa flew down to watch the girls while Jon and I went house hunting in AZ. We left them Friday afternoon and came home late Monday night. It was a succesful trip all around. Namy and Papa had perfect kids and we had a nice break ourselves. On the first day I kept thinking we left the kids in the car. It's odd to get out of the car and not have a bunch of kids and strollers to get out. We even got to go to a Hockey game. The Coyotes have a brand new stadium area and it's amazing! We valet parked and it was only $5!! Namy and Papa really enjoyed there time with the girls too. Sam was excited because Papa was coming and he took her to donuts and ice cream. Namy took her shopping and bought her a new dress and shoes plus some toys! They also bought the twins matching outfits! On Saturday they spent the girls spent the day with the Pate girls. They went to Tilden Park and got to go on the train! Papa and the Pate boys went to the Stanford vs UW game...and the Huskies won wahoo! Jon and I found the perfect house for us so now all we have to do is get our house sold and off we go.

Sam started her day at Debbies. She has a Halloween Party where all the kids get to wear their costumes all day so she went today instead of her usual day on Thursdays. They had a lot of fun. Debbie gave them all Great halloween bag full of yummy treats that everybody brought. We ended up dumping out all the treats from it and used for trick or treating! Sam and I made cupcakes for the party too. Sam loves to put the sprinkles on the cupcakes! After I picked her up from daycare we went to The Hodges' for a little halloween gathering.The girls had a lot of fun playing with all of Dominics toys! Grama Peggy got the the girls fun Halloween bags full of really fun stuff!

We headed over to Alamo for some trick or treating. Everybody was so happy to see the Princess and the Lady Bugs because the neighborhood has grown up so we were the youngest ones trick or treating. Sam got a lot of "you are the most beautiful princess ever" alot of oooing and aahhing over them.

It was really cute. Jack, Jordan and Blake were in Jordans 'hood and they really wanted to come trick or treating w Sammy. Kris was like "you realize guys you are leaving your friends to go trick or treating w a 2 year old" yep...they love the princess!
