jumping off the bridge

This morning Jon "worked" from home so while the twins were down for their morning nap Sam and I went to the Bayfair mall. I needed to return something and Sam wanted to play at the play area. Since the twins are still sick we are stuck at home for the rest of the day. Sure hope they are better by the weekend for their big birthday bash!

rough morning

First Sydney had a huge blow out while I was in the shower so Jon handed her to me to rinse her all off...it was all the way up to her neck...nasty runs. Then Sam wet the bed (she's about 95% there in the potty training thing) so she took a shower/bath. Then I went and checked on Courtney because she sure was sleeping in. When I walked into her room it stunk so bad and she was sitting there in vomit. Poor baby. So she got a bath too. Looks like we are staying in today.

Toddling Times playgroup met at Greenridge park today for some fun. It turned out to be a beautiful warm day.

Multiple's Muse

Some friends of mine are members of the the twins by the bay twins club and have started up a blog with little stories, advice and such. Today my friend posted this: Two vs. Three. Perfectly said Rachel.

Santa at the Castro Valley Village

This afternoon Samantha and I met up with the Hodges for our annual trip to visit Santa Claus. The one at the Castro Valley Village is the best around. He is a very jolly Santa and you can take pictures with your own camera. Neither one of them wanted to sit on his lap though. Sam has been asking to go see him ever since we saw him at the mall in Texas so it was pretty funny when we got there and she didnt want to have anything to do with him. We did go back again a couple hours later with the twins and Barley but that's the Christmas card shot so I wont post it here you'll have to wait to get it in the mail! This time Samantha talked to him and told him she wanted a princess Christmas. She is such a girlie girl. Sam is really liking this Christmas stuff. She made her Daddy put the lights up on the house and she had so much fun decorating the tree. Last night we even watched "Frosty the snowman" I did get an advent calendar and I am trying to teach her the true meaning of Christmas but I think that will take a while. This is my favorite time of year!!

Head shoulders kness and toes

Fiona and Allison turn one

Today was Fiona and Allison's first birthday. They are twins from our twins and siblings playgroup. They have an older brother named Lincoln who Sam just adores. Their parents threw a little bash for them and everybody knows how much Sam loves a birthday party. She was ready to go the minute she woke up this morning! Everybody seemed to have a great time and the cake was tasty tasty!
