Rain Rain Go Away
It's been raining for the past 2 days and we are going stir crazy. I did buy Samantha a few dvds for her birthday that came in the mail yesterday. I gave her a couple already and we've watched Cinderella II three times and the Enchanted tales four times! What a good parent I am!!

Little People
This evening we got all the Little People stuff out and played. The twins really liked the box that we keep it in more the actual toys though!
Samantha really likes the castle and farm the best! We now have two cows which she promptly told me which one was the mommy and the daddy.

I used the self timer for the first time today and the twins were a little unsure about the noise coming from the camera, Sam kept saying do it again...I think we took 6 here are the two best shots.

Sam was in the twins room with me while I was changing Cjs diaper and in walks Sydney. Samantha says in the cutest voice "there is our number one baby!" I said "if she's number one then what is Courtney?" "Number three." "then what are you?" "Number one also!" Go figure!

This morning Samantha handed Sydney a dolly and out of the blue she hugged it, patted it on the back and said "baby" over and over... it was so dang cute!

Dresses
For the past few months I havent put dresses on the twins since they were crawling. It's to hard for them to crawl with a dress on since there knees get caught in the dress and they cant move, it's pretty hilarious because they get so frustrated so it's just plain mean to do. And Sam and dresses. She wants them to wear them so bad. I told her that when they start to walk we can put them in dresses...well they are walking (like a drunken sailors but walking none the less) and Sam wants them in dresses or skirts. I think I only have one dress thats size 12 months so we went to the Gap outlet today to get them each a dress. (Auntie Rhonda sent them gift cards for their birthday) They didnt have a very big selection but I think we got cute ones. Sam wanted to get a short sleeve spring type dress for them but it's cold here so we opted for the long sleeve onsie with a jean dress. I think they will look stylin'! Maybe I'll get a picture in the dresses tomorrow!

New Years Eve
The Hodges came over for the evening.
I thought that this was a great shot! All the kids strapped in.
Our plan was to watch the ball come down on New York time but we missed it by three minutes. Us adults were playing the board game "battle of the sexes"--which the girls won. So we got hats on and did a count down anyways, the girls didnt know the difference.
They just thought it was fun to dance around, make noise and wear party hats!
Ouch
I took a nap in the afternoon and was awaken by Jon yelling at me that Courtney had fell. He missed the actual fall, she was in the hallway and all of a sudden there was a blood curdling scream and this is what how he found her.
Freaked me out terribly. It was 3:30 so I called the peditricians office which was already closed for the day. Jon put ice on it. She had clamed down and it pretty much was back to her normal self so I calmed down too. After an hour or so the actual bumped went down too. So we didnt make a run to the ER, which would have been packed being New Years Eve and all. We did give her some Motrin becasue that had to be a head ache.
