sick again

Sams stomach bug was back again today...after 4 days of solid poops too...Poor thing had to miss ballet again. Preschool is on "Fall Break" so she didnt miss school. This sticking around the house drives me crazy, I think we all get a bout of cabin fever!

Montebello is clean

I sent Jon and the kids out of the house for a few hours on Saturday morning so I could clean the house. I really hate it when I clean one room, move onto the next and when I come back the other room is a mess again. I needed about 1 more hour for it to be perfect but this will do. I thought maybe youd like to see the house now that we have moved in since the last time I showed you the house we hadnt moved in yet. I didnt show Jons office (its just to messy) or the 2 car garage (just forgot.) Jon office is the spare room now. Our intention was the office was going to be where the kids play room is but it was to big and to noisy for him so he moved to the spare room. I sure am happy with out house, I do miss CA though!

the Doggy Door!

The doogy door has been a hit with the girls...Barley on the other hand is an old dog and hasnt used one since we lived at the Pates over 5 years ago. We had it put it in on Friday. He uses it but after some reluctance. He stands in front of the sliding glass door and waits. We have to point him towards his door. He eventually does it though. We were getting tired of cleaning up after him, he was having way to many accidents in the middle of the night. He is a good dog though and was only going on the bathroom floor but now he's free to go and in and out as he wishes...

Phoenix Zoo

It was a cool day (only 75* when we left and 85* when we got home) so we decided to head over to the Phoenix Zoo. Jim and Jill Blair met us there and what a great time we all had. We ended up getting a year membership and I know I will be using it quite often once Courtney has her splint removed. It has so many neat little play ground type areas through out the park. It's reallly big too. We only saw half of it before the kids started to melt down, we stayed there about an hour past there nap time!

Sam made us all go on the merry go round first thing. The twins did not like it at all. Sydney cried pretty much the whole time and Jon had to sit on the handicap bench with Courtney because she refused to sit on an animal! Samantha picked funny animals to ride today!

an early morning

Jons alarm clock must have went off at 445. He has a long day up in SF flies back on the last flight tonight. Courtney started crying at 5:30 which is about 2 hours early for her. She NEVER wakes up that early. Some how she had taken her splint off in the middle of the night and was not happy that I put it back on her (then put one of my socks over so she wont take it off again.) She has been whining all morning but I think its just because she is tired but she wont go back to sleep. Her fever is gone too. She didnt want to be in my room anymore so she ran towards hers crying loudly which woke Sydney up at 630. So the coffee is made and its going to be another long day!

a walk to the park

Everybody was feeling great this morning so we decided to walk to the little park that is a couple blocks away. After a day spent in front of the tv yesterday we had to get out of the house. Its still fairly warm here so we ended up leaving the house a little late, the kids got hot after being at the park for 30 minutes and they wanted to go home. We spent 10 minutes in the shade but we all got bored!
