lame Santa

This morning I got the girls all dressed up in their cute matching Christmas dresses and headed to the pet store with Barley in his Santa collar to get our pictures taken with Santa Claus. It was very lame and the twins didnt want anything to do with Santa. Sam was a tropper and sat next to him. The picture they took was not even worthy of scanning but at least we could use our own camera. 1/2 the profits went to the animal shelter so it wasnt a total loss.

after the picture we went to the Dollar tree which was next door and Courtney threw up all over the floor and Jon ran her outside and she threw up more on the window and sidewalk..fun times!

the night

at 5 this morning Jon nudged me...it was his turn to do the morning shift so I was mifted but he said he'd been up 3 times throughout the night and it WAS my turn. I went and Sydney was at the door standing on Sams face trying to open it. Once I opened it Syd fell on top of Sam too. Sam slept through the whole thing, she was out! I brought Syd into bed with us and she slept until 8:30! When I finally rolled out of bed (at 9) Jon said it was Courtney that he was dealing with all night so he was shocked when I came in with Syd! ahhh parenthood!

Bolt

We took all the kids to the movie 'Bolt' this evening. We were going to go to the 5 pm show but it was in 3d and we didnt think the twins would wear the glasses throughout the show. So we hung out at the mall (they had a fun play area and ate in the food court) and we went to the 6:30 showing. There was probably 15 people more people in the theater so when the twins were pretty much done watching the show we let them run all over the place. Nobody seemed to mind. We got home and put the kids to bed all at the same time and it went really smooth. Sam came out once with Courtney following but I put them back to bed and Courtney cried for maybe 2 minutes before the room fell silent. Sam really wanted to sleep on the couch cushions on the ground so Sydney and Courtney are sharing the big bed. So cute!
