Tonight we had salmon and Sam thought it was "the best chicken ever!" She wanted more so I asked Courtney if Sam could have some of hers and she covered her hands over her plate and said "NO!" Looks like we will be having this a little more often!

strollin to the park

We went for a walk to the little park this morning. Courtney and Samantha pushed their dollys (one baby doll and one curious George) in the baby strollers. Sydney wanted to walk Barley so she didnt bring her stroller. The park is 3 streets over and Barley had a hard time. We havent taken the dog for a walk in a long time so he kept taking breaks. On the way home they all wanted to walk him so they were good about taking turns.

I tried to get a good shot of the three of them but Sydney refused to look at the camera today!

Courtney is gettting this talking thing down...she is so polite its creepy, always saying 'peese' and 'tank you,' today Kim sneezed and she said "bess you"... it was way to cute!

As I was driving Samantha to preschool today...Courtney figured out how to get out her car seat! OH SH*T!

Last night we went to Rubios (a Mexican sorta fast food chain) I got a free meal from them being on the email list and the coupon was expiring yesterday. I dont know why we even try now to take these two little ones out to eat. They dont want to sit and eating the last thing that is on their minds. After they did a couple sprints around the restaurant, Jon finished his meal and took them to the car while Sam and I finished ours. It wasnt really the best experience and one free meal out out five is still a lot of money! Oh yeah my New Years resolution this year is to not drink any soda (unless its in a cocktail) I dont know if its the best resolution since now I am drinking more beer!

Mesa Swap Meet

Yesterday we went to the Mesa Swap Meet. It was on the way far side of Mesa so it seemed to take forever to get there and even longer to get back. Jon thought it was a lot like the dollar store but the things cost more then a dollar! Not the best to take two 2 year olds either. we kept them buckled up in their stroller which they did not like at all. We walked through most of it then decided a McD's playland was to be found.




The kids love playing in the structure. Sam was pretty much the only kid that ate unless you count Courtney eating the apple dippers dipped in carmel! Jon noticed right when we were about to leave that all the kids playing there were girls except for one boy to about 9 girls.

Happy New Year

We had a little party last night. It was Jills birthday so we made her a cake, Sam was a little confused that we didnt have pizza because we always have pizza at birthday parties! We also celebrated the new year on NY time because as Jon put it "we invited old people and people with kids"
