Ice cream date

while the twins napped this afternoon Sam and I went for ice cream. i let her choose, McD's, Dairy Queen, Cold Stone or Baskin and Robbins. She chose McDs. I would have chose DQ for a blizzard! I think the play place had something to do with it!

After we got of the pool this evening I took my hair out of my pony tail and shook it. It was very messy. Courtney pointed at it and laughed "you go buy new one." I said "new what" She laughed more and said "You go buy new hair!"

Rio Vista Splash Park

We havent ventured out to a splash park yet this year...still a lttle freaked out because of last years 'cryptosporidium' outbreak. We packed a lunch and went for Jons lunch hour. He still "worked"...his iphone is amazing!

JEEPERS!

Today we went to Jeepers! It's a fun little amusement park that is indoors and considering it was so dang hot we thought we'd go check it out. It's clear over in Mesa but it was so worth the drive. We took Jessica with us and the kids had a blast.

We went to Islands for lunch. Sam really liked the puzzle where each letter is a symbol and you have to figure out the secret word. It was "sand castle."

Courtney wanted to go on this little ride all by herself. She is such a funny girl at times!

Waiting for the roller coaster to start up again. A lady put her kid on it that was around the same age as the twins and walked to the other side of the building. Her kid started crying and wanted off. The workers (who are teenagers) were like where's the mom? Some people!

Tonight I was upstairs reading and Syd comes upstairs and says "hi mom." I looked up and said "hi courtney." She looks at me with her big cheesey smile and says "I Sydney, thats Sydney!" as she points to herself!

swim time!

Spent the morning/afternoon at the gym ...


I was planning on working out. I put the girls into the day care and realized I forgot my gym shoes. I knew Jon was going to come down so I called him, he told me to swim. I didnt want to so I sat down and started reading my 'Prevention' magazine and Dara Torres got milk ad was on the back of the mag so I felt guily and it motivated me so I swam 11 laps (550 yds!) Swimming is a great tiring workout!

Before bed time (and nap time) I tell the little girls its almost time for bed (nappy) time and they both put a hand up and say "no 5 minutes" soo cute!
