slide

Courtney was so excited to figure out the whole slide thing today. She went up and down it for at least a half an hour. Sydney watched but never made it to the top. She wouldnt try the steps, she just wanted to climb up the slide. Which, of course, made Courtney slide into her. Great fun to watch them play!

all growed up

I over heard Sam telling her daddy that her panties are getting too small. He said "do you know why they are getting small?" and she said "because I'm getting all growed up!"

drawers

Sorry the pictures are blurry, I had the camera on the wrong setting but I had to show ya'll Courtney in the drawer this morning.

By the time I realized I took bad pictures she was off to do other things...

peek a boo

We played a rousing game of peek a boo today while we waited for the doctor.

4 minutes

I was picking up a prescription for Sydney today at the Safeway pharmacy. The pharmacist said, "what beautiful girls you have and they look so close in age, how far apart are they?" I said "4 minutes, they're twins" She screamed in delight and then proceeded to tell everybody working in the pharmacy that they are twins and only four minutes apart. It was the funniest reaction I had ever gotten.

On another note: I did a big grocery shop for the first time today with all the kids while we were waiting for the prescription I put Syd in the backpack since I forgot to ask the doc if the staff infection (in her hair follicles of all places) is contagious. Courtney was strapped in the seat part of the cart while Sam was in the basket. I ended up having them get another cart to put the bagged groceries in since there was a lot and of course I got help out! It's definitely doable but not ideal...the girls were really good but by the time we left they were ready to go!

outside

Yesterday the sun was shinning a little bit so the kids spent a lot of time outside. Sydney took two long naps so I didnt get any pictures of her out there. Courtney really played a lot with the tonka.

Samantha likes it when the swing is up really high.

boa

I was sitting on the couch watching the food network when all of a sudden I hear Sydney scream and start crying. As I was running to see what had happened I hear Courtney start screaming and crying...I turn the corner and they are playing tug o war with a pink boa. It was one of those moments that I wish we had the house set up for reality tv and it was being recorded. I went and got a pretty scarf that Sam had taken from my mom and gave it to Court but she really wanted the pink boa.

and in the end she did get it and what a little cutie she is!
