Today was Sams last day as a Pike on Monday she moves on up to Eel. Her teacher Britney planned it too so she could still be her teacher. Sam really likes her. She does and awesome job and Sam has progressed so far from her first day to now. She can almost do it by herself...it's all about the confidence now. She has the skills but she's afraid. The teacher thinks that moving her up will really help her with that!

a mommy night
Last night I met up with some ladies from the West Valley Moms Club that I have joined. We met at this place called Leaps. They make these Blizzard type things out of frozen custard and they are delish! It was nice to sit and chat with other 'grown ups' it was odd though none of talked about our kids we prety muched talked about gas prices, home foreclosures and we did chat a bit about preschool. It was kinda depressing talk. I felt kinda bad because most of the ladies bought homes in the last few years and there value has gone down tremedously...good for us but bad for them!
After my little chat fest I met Kim at the Westgate AMC theatre and we finally saw 'Sex and the City' great movie but it was longggg 2 hours and 15 minutes, the tv show was only 30 minutes it seemed like a really long episode. Totally a great movie if you weree a fan of the show! I ended having to drive Kim up to Mikes who lives in the North side of Phoenix after the show so I didnt crawl into bed til 12:45 am. Jon had to get up and go to SF this morning and Courtney decided that 5 am was a good time to wake up. UGH UGH UGH! It's going to be a long day and we are out of coffee grounds, I was so desperate for a caffiene fix I ended up pouring the last little bit of yesterdays coffee and nuking it...did the trick!

A magazine subscription
Papa bought Sam a subscription to 'National Geographic Little Kids' magazine. Sam was very excited to get it in the mail yesterday. She has gotten really good at putting the key into the mailbox and getting the mail. She even closes and locks it too! If she wasnt just three I could stay in the car while she ran in and got it!
On the car ride home she was sitting in her car seat quietly reading then she says "Mom I dont know the letters, when we get home can you teach me to read?" I had to laugh at that, like I could just teach her in one afternoon...
Thanks Papa for the magazine, she really liked it excepted it was about Wolf Pups at Play this month and she doesnt like wolves we had to skip that story!

a Little Surprise
Tonight we went to a WOWPOM (Way Out West Parents of Multiples) function at 'a little surprise'. The twins club near us is very small something like 30 memebers- coming from the largest twins club in the nation (TVMOTC) which has over 400 members it's a whole different dynamic. This club has the dads involved just as much as the moms. The kids really enjoyed the play place. We will definetly be heading back here again!
Sam found the "girlie boutique"
while Sydney and Courtney really liked these cars...
especially Sydeny!
Sam played in the firetruck
and Sydney and Courteny loved the soft blocks!
Sydney liked pushing around the food cart
she wished they were real grapes!
