Needed to get into the pool after dinner tonight! It's not that refreshing though, its 91*, still is fun though. Poor Jon cut his leg last Saturday night and had to get 7 stitches so he cant get in the pool until after they stitches come out which isnt until next Friday...poor guy~

the reason I havent been blogging: the never ending boxes!

We have officially started the moving process. We rented a 14 ft u haul and have made one trip so far. It's a bit hot (108* yesterday-cooler then last week when it was 118*) My Dad is here to help with this whole process. This morning he is the babysitter while Jon and I are at the house (the pool guy was suppose to be here at 5:30 but called at 7 and said he has to come until later ugh!) Yesterday as we were unloading the truck my Dad would take these 2 minute breaks for a drink after about the third one I said "Dad you need to be careful Beer isnt water" he laughed he was filling his beer bottle up with the cold water from the fridge! Jon has to work a bit this morning but we'll we'll ber making one more u haul trip this after noon so lots of packing this morning. The pro movers are coming on Weds to move all the heavy stuff. i.e. beds, armoirs, couches...its to damn hot to do that kind of lifting!
Papa and Sam spent a good hour floating and playing in the pool yesterday. Too cute!

cribs part 2

Syd figured how to get out of the crib...

Yesterday we had them nap in the porta cribs at the new house. Jon got the doorknobs on and they havent figured out how to open them yet. They each slept in their own rooms. They both crawled out and slept on the hardwood floors with a pillow next to the door.

Last night Syd kept crawling out of her crib. Jon said it took her about 30 seconds to get out once he put her in. So he ended up just throwing the mattress on the floor and she slept there for awhile but at 4 she woke up and Jon brought her to our bed.

I think I am going to go find some used toddler bed frames today!

cribs

I got a babysitter the past two days while I was up at the new house letting people to work. I told the babysitter that Court sleeps in the porta crib in my closet and Syd sleeps in her crib. Well Court figured out how to crawl of the port a crib so she called me and I told her to just switch the kids then. Well Syd figured out too ( I knew that, she did it last weekend at the new house) so she called again and I said jsut put them in their cribs and let them nap together. Well Courtney figured out how to climb out of her crib too. But she ended up taking a nap in their once her sister was in the room with her. Syd hasnt figured out yet so Courtney got the crib tent. When we move to the new house next week we arent putting up the cribs and the girls are getting twin beds...ahhh the fun begins!!

Sarah emailed me some pictures from our little going away gathering that they threw for us last March. I sure do miss those kids! Cant wait for them to come for a visit!!
