pool time

So fun to have a pool right in our backyard!

tea time

Sam was invited to Jessicas house today for a tea party. She had a load of fun and as you can see Auntie Kim is all about dress up! Sam has been playing tea party here with her sisters with the plastic tea sets she got for her birthday. I dont even let her put water in it. Auntie Kim went all out and they used a real China tea set that she brought back for Jessica last year when she went to England AND real tea! Oh they looked like they had so much fun!

an ice cube

All the girls love ice cubes but as you know they can be rather sleppery. Sydney was having the hardest time picking it up off the floor with her fingers she finally gave up...it took her a few trys but as Murphys Law is she got right when I started filming!

Sam is starting preschool...

Tomorrow is Sams first day pre-school. She will be going to Trinity Lutheran Preschool. Oddly enough that is the name of the preschool I went to (and the church my parents still attend!) and it gets even weirder because the principles name is Luedtke (my maiden name is Ludtke but we are related to Ludke and Luedke but not Luedtke--confusing I know) Yesterday afternoon we went and met her teachers, Mrs. De Yager & Mrs. Seabreeze (I think thats what she said.) Sam was very excited to meet them and see her classroom. Since its the afternoon class its very small only 5 kids so she's going to get alot of attention!

Sam

3 in a tub

By the end of a good scrubbing that water isnt that crystal clear! I wonder when Sam is going to start saying she wants to take a bath without her babies...

playing outside

After dinner tonight it didnt seem like it was that hot out but according to the little temp gauge it was. It sure didnt feel like 101*..more like 90* I guess we are getting use to living here in the desert!

The girls were having fun playing in the 'sand trap'
and on the 'green', poor Jon thought how cool to have a putting green with a sand trap in the back yard and its going to end up being the kids play area! Once it gets a little colder we will put up the swing set and play structure...
what a smile!
Courtney had a little rest in the back of the truck
while Sam and Syd played the 'drum'
