snaggles

The other day Sam got the comb stuck in her hair. I was a little nervous at first that I was going to have to cut it out but after a few tugs and pulls I got it out. I know it wont be the last time something like this happens!

Today I put a chicken in the 'set it and forget it' and the twins thought it was the neatest thing to watch. At one point they were standing there and looking up at it while Sydney had her arm around Courtneys waist. The all of a sudden Courtney grabbed Syds hand and they were standing there ooohing and aaahing over the chicken spinning around. It was so sweet to watch and pretty funny too. After awhile they went and got the step stool so they could see it closer. I had to move it though because they kept hitting the no heat button. Jon calls it Food TV!

a walk around the block

After we dropped Sam off at school today we came back and went for a spontaneous walk around the block. Courtney didnt have any shoes or socks on and Syd had socks on but no shoes. They were playing with the big mop bucket thats on wheels in the driveway so I went in and got there dollys and strollers. Then they both took off down the street. It was fun (but it was a hot day and I wish I had my shorts on and my sunglasses!)

Sydney has been rather camera shy lately...every time I bring it out she turns her head and says no!

I figured out how to send the video from the camera straight to youtube tonight, Yay! not the best quality but at least I figured it out and the sound isnt all messed up!

Monday

Monday sucked. Sydney had a fever pretty much all day and only wanted me to snuggle her. When she woke up from her nap she felt better, yay! Papa and I rode them over to the little park by our house for a little running around. That was the best part of the day. When we got back the kids were playing outside with the bubble machine. After a while they came in and found a water bottle and thats where their fun began and mine didnt. They ended up spraying our big screen tv and now its pretty much ruined. I didnt actually see them spray it but Sam said they did. They did get towels and wipe up after themselves. that was the 'game' they were playing. They'd spray and then wipe. Well the bottom three inches of the tv screen is ruined. Its spotty black. Hopefully we can get it fixed and even better if its something that the warranty will cover and it can will get done before the big game!

worst.night.ever.

Last night starting around 12:30 all three girls woke up at one point (or two) and needed me. Sydney was by far the worst of the the bunch. She wanted me to stay with her in her room. Then Courtney cried and she needed me. Then Syd wanted me back. Then all of a sudden Sam woke up from a bad dream I am assuming because she was all freaked out that there was a frog in her room. She walked to my room and I wasnt there then she strted yelling for me. So I went to her room with her to look for the frog. She said it must have jumped under something. She was also mad that I wasnt in my bed. She said "its the middle of the night momma why werent you in your bed?" Then Syd was screaming/crying again finally I told her to come sleep with me to my bed which is way more comfortable. Sam heard me say that and she wanted to come too. So Syd was in the middle and Sam was where Jon usually sleeps. Samantha was in a chatting mood when she crawled into bed I had to keep telling her to be quiet. and at one point she tried to crawl in between me and Syd and practically pushed me off the bed. Syd kept waking up thoughout the night but at least I was right there. Courtney woke up at one point again but I jsut went in and snuggled for a quick minute. Thankfully she went right back to sleep. Court was the first one to wake up and she sure wasnt happy. Everybody ended up waking at the same time so I had to get their milks but Court was upset that I didnt help her change her diaper and put a dress on her right away. She was screaming and making Sam really mad since she couldnt hear the tv. Ugh! They better take good naps today. They didnt yesterday and I find that if there naps are horrible the night is horrible.

Jon had to go to Brentenville(?), Arkansas for a meeting at the Walmart headquarters. He had a heck of travel day with his flight being cancelled to Denver sa he wasnt going to make it to the connecting flight to Tulsa which would have been a 2 hour drive to AK. Instead he caught a flight to Kansas City and drove 4.5 hours but he had to wait 4 hours at the PHX airport and do the driving in the middle of the night! He should be back tonight.

itty bitty sports

Yesterday was the girls first day of 'itty bitty sports.' Its a class through the Y. They play soccer, t ball and golf each for 2 weeks each. Its a little early for us (9am) and its chilly at that time a day! Fun times!

Sam seemed to be the oldest and was the coaches helper through out the practice. She really can dribble the soccer ball. She loves soccer!

Courtney looked like a line backer. She had on a t shirt, her sweatshirt and Sams sweat shirt-silly girl!

Syndney refused to put on her jersey and she loved the yellow ball the best!

At the end they all put there hands in the middle and yelled "we love soccer!"
