Sunny Sunday afternoon

It got pretty warm here today so we put a little heat in the pool (81*) and played for a bit. We all had a blast once we got use to it...

I told the girls to hold hands so they folded their hands. Dad tried to show them what I meant but they didnt want anything to do with that!

We ended the day with Jons tasty BBQ of baby back ribs, beans and coleslaw--YUMMY!!

Our next big house project is to get the backyard looking spiffy...

Sydney

When Syd wakes up in the morning she always runs to the door, gets on the floor and cries for us through the crack btwn the door and floor. Today was my lucky day to go get her.I walked to her room in a daze, it was 7:20 am. I opened the door slowly and she came around the door with a big smile on her face and said "peek boo!" I got a big smile on my face and was happy that I had to to be the one to get her!

Courtney

Last night I had a wonderful evening with my mom and Jill. We went and got pedicures, had chinese food and then played a fun card game...that I think is called pegs and jokers but I cant remember. I got home around 9:45 and Courtney was in her room awake and crying. I went in and laid with her but she was jsut awake so I figured I'd let her jsut figure it out that it was bed time. Jon had been going doing this since her bed time at 8. At 10:30 we finally jsut let her out and turned the tv on and she played upstairs happily. I went to bed at 11 and took her with me. I promptly fell asleep and she didnt. I woke up at 1145 and she wasnt in the bed so I went to look for her. She was downstairs with Jon. Jon finally went to bed at 1230 and she did to without a fuss. We were a little shocked that she woke up at 8:10 this morning though. She is usually our great little sleeper...

for some reason

Either I woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning or all three girls did. They are driving me nuts today. I took them up to free play at the gymnastics place to let them run around. It was crazy there...too many people but they had fun. Its jsut getting them to and from the car that drove me nuts. Courtney ran to it, Syd ran completely the wrong direction and Sam well she was as slow as a snail. I ended up picking up some KFC and went to Namys to eat our lunch. The girls ate a bit but were all over the place there too. Courtney did make us laugh though. She went to the other side of the RV and found the hose with the sprayer on it. Picked it up and started spraying it. When Namy went around the corner to get her she started spraying her. I ended up sneaking around the other side to turn the water off. She had a great big smile on her face and thought that was great fun! We had to get home so they could take their naps. Thankfully they didnt fall asleep in the car on the way home. I let them play for a little bit but jsut had to put them down for their naps. They dont sound to happy about it either but they will fall asleep! After Jon is done with work I am going to go up and hang w my mom for a bit w/o the kiddos...going to go get pedicures and some dinner. Yay!!

no sleepover

After school today Sam went with Namy to have a sleepover. She has been asking for one ever since we got back from Disneyland. They had an early dinner and at 7 Sam called and was mad that Namy wasnt feeding her dinner. She said they ate lunch. Silly girl. They had milk and cookies. Well at around 845 she called and said she wanted to come home. I told her no its too far and jsut to snuggle up and watch a movie with Namy. I thought that it worked but an hour later the doorbell rang and there was Sam and Namy. Namy said she wouldnt stop crying. I sent her straight to bed and now Namy says she cant have sleepovers anymore. so sad!

ducks in a row

Uncle Lex and Aunt Leah gave the girls 100 of these ducks for their birthday. 100 is a crazy amount of ducks in the bath. Most of them are in a box under the sink, 25 is a good number! Sydney lined them all up in a row tonight!

thats how long it took Sydney, Courtney and I to walk around our block this evening. Courtney is obbsessed with all the rocks in everybodys yards. She puts them on the sroller tray for her dolly. They love to sing and dance too. very cute!

Samantha is having a sleepover at Namys tonight. (Papa is still in WA but will be coming back tomorrow...yay) She just called and said that Namy didnt feed her dinner...she took her out for an early dinner but I guess she was hungry now. They are going to have milk and cookies.
