backyard redo progress continued

Sick oh soo sick

we have been holed up at the Pates house in Alamo, CA. Sydney got sick up in Tahoe on Sunday night and has been so sick ever since. I finally took her to urgent care this morning and the doc said we are doing it right. Make sure they have enough liquid and that they are peeing. Courtney threw up yesterday and Sam this morning. We are driving back to Az tomorrow, pray for us!

Beauty Sleep

The things that come out of Samantha mouth sometimes just crack me up. We are leaving for Tahoe tomorrow for Sarah's 50th birthday bash. We are leaving at 4 am and hoping to get there by 6...we'll see. So I told Sam that I was going to wake her up in the middle of the night so we can begin our vacation. She says "ah Mom you are going to ruin my beauty sleep!"

I noticed today that I am posting my one thousandth post but according to the log post I had 1002. I forgot to publish 2 posts (one was a duplicate and the other was "cute butts") so technically this is 1001! I started this blog thing Friday, April 13, 2007. It is so great to have the last couple years out here in webland. Many more years to come! Thanks Rachel Long for getting me started!

one tired monkey

The last two nights Sam has had a camp out in the lof in her tent. We have let her jsut fall asleep with the "goodnight show" on so she has been staying up late. This morning she woke up at 8 and promptly fell back to sleep while eating breakfast. She got a litttle uncomfortable and moved to the ottoman. Slept until 10:30!

Tonight she will be going to bed at 8:30 in her bed!
