Easter Morning

When the twins woke up, I woke up Sam and they all went downstairs and woke Alyssa up. The "Easter bunny" came and left baskets full of goodies and instructions to go outside and find some hidden eggs. Sam had to find 6 little pink ones and 2 big green ones, Courtney had all purple ones, Sydney had "lello" and Alyssa had green ones. It was a great hunt and the bunny did a good job hiding them. The kids then snacked on candy. oh what a great breakfast!!

Jon made a tasty breakfast and we got ready and went to church. We went to Trinity Lutheran Church today. Its the church where Sam goes to school. It was a lovely service. Sam liked the the ladies plying the bells. After church we came home a made a bunch of tasty food, a ham with a apricot brown mustard glaze, scalloped potatoes, green bean casserole, ceasar salad and buns. Kim and her fam came with dessert (strawberry shortcake, tutti frutti cake with marshmallows and dirt w worms (choc pudding and gummy worms mixed up with graham crackers)) oh yeah Jon made awesome bloody marys while the kids enjoyed some martinellis! Jon turned the heater on to the pool and for some reason it heated rather quickly (95*) so we spent most of the afternoon floating around in the pool! What an awesome day!!
