Sydney woke up happy and healthy this morning! Yay. So we all went to TX. The whole event was pretty uneventful. This is the second Thanksgiving that we have flown out on the actual day and I highly recommend it. the plane was practically empty. which is great since we flew southwest and the twins are still "lap" kids. if the plane was full of people they would have actually had to sit on our laps. All three of them were pretty good fliers today. Sam was the best. She listened and practically did everything we told her to amazingly. The twins were pretty good too except for take off and landing when they did actually have to sit on our laps...they did not like that. Pa picked us up and took us back to their house. Grandmother is in the hospital and hopefully will be getting out Sunday or Monday. She hadnt been feeling very well and having trouble breathing. She had fluid in her lungs which they drained but now she jsut needs to get some energy and strength back before the dr. will discharge her. We will be visiting her in the morning. Hopefully seeing the girls will help her spirits. Tonight it was really cute. the way the sleeping arrangements are here the twins have to sleep in the same room. We have syd sleeping on the cushions from the couch on the floor and Courtney on the bed. Sam really wanted to sleep with them but they were having such a hard time going to sleep that we didnt think that would be such a good idea. The twins arent use to being in the same room with each other so it was quite fun for them. This was the first time since they have been out of the cribs that they slept in the same room so the freedom was exciting for them since they were together. they finally settle down and went to sleep so when 'snow white' was over sam begged to sleep with them. I told her we could try but she had to go to sleep. She was so excited. She said "I get to sleep in the same bed with Courtney we get to sleep with eachothery" I think this is the first time all three of them have slept in the same room. Sam kept getting up though and I was afraid that she was going to wake her sisters up so I told her she had to sleep in the other room...she then threw a fit and I thought for sure the twins were going to wake but they didnt. I got jon and he got her to settle down and go to sleep.
Tomorrow we are having out Thanksgiving dinner with Jons sister and her family plus Pa's kids and their families might be joining us as well.
Here are a few shots waiting to get on the plane.
