Sydney is back to 'normal,' Courtney is right behind her and Sam hopefully will be right there with them. Here is what nap time looked like today. Love Sydneys napping spot!

We stayed in the Pates spare room...the plan was to keep all the kids on the floor like this but that only happened 2 nights. Syd slept one night out in the living room one night (Jon made it until midnight then we traded...not too comfortable) and then the next night she slept with me. Courtney got the privilege one night too but sam slept the whole time down on the floor. She thought it was great fun!

On Weds the kids all went swimming (well Syd was still sick so she just layed on the chair and watched) Courtney wasnt sure she wanted to swim at first. She had just wakened from her nap and wasnt sure but then she jumped in clothes and all! Sam sure did love jumping off the diving board. Courtney would even try...I know if Sydney was up for it she would have, she is such a dare devil! Good times!

Sarah's turned 50!

On May 23 Sarah Pate turned a half century! What a life!! She had a big ta do up at their 'cabin' in Serene Lakes (near Lake Tahoe.) The weather was warm but the snow was still there. Didnt stop my kids playing at the beach with the great buckets and shovels from Sarah!

We had a nice hike through the woods before the fun and games began!

Sydney got sick late Sunday night and the rest of the week was spent down in Alamo at the Pate house with sick kids...Courtney got it on Thursday and Samantha woke up w it on Friday. We drove back Saturday and Courtney got sick a bunch of times, I bought a bunch of towels at costco so we were safe.

Sams last day of her first year of preschool!

On Thursday May 21 was Sams last day of preschool. They had a fun day with movies, pizza and water play! She sure loves school. Next year she will be going 3 days a week. We were going to put her in everyday but decided that wouldnt be fair to the twins since we wouldnt be able to do anything fun during the week...this way we can go to the zoo or something and not have to rush back by noon to get Sam to school!
