potty training

We are starting to think about potty training. We've been reading the Dora potty book and the girls love to sit on the potty. We havent bought training pottys so they sit on the big toilet. They usually sit there and get toilet paper and throw it in the the toilet then flush over and over. Today Courtney said she had to go poop. So I sat her on the potty. Sydney followed us into the bathroom and patiently waited for a turn. After aabout 5 mintues Courtney got bored of sitting there ( no luck ) and then Syd got her turn. She sat there for about five getting the toilet paper and flushing then she said 'pee' and sure enough she was peeing with a big smile on her face. Then she tried to wipe herself and I got her off the pot. She said 'poop' and got back on the toilet and pooped a really big poop. she was so happy and everybody clapped! Exciting. Oh how I cant wait until they are all trained up and I can stop buying diapers...it'll be like an extra $75 bucks in our pockets each month! wahoo!
