Trailer ride
This evening after tacos Papa took the girls on a long trailer ride. They had super fun. Towards the end the twins got out and Sam went for a ride down through the pit. When they got back Courtney jumped back in for the trip back to the shed. Sydney was done so she chased them. Then they all ran around for a good while and got all dirty. Completely forgot about the pitch on the ground from the trees...hard to get off feet...oh well!
driving
Driving for days in an rv with 3 kids strapped in isnt the funnest thing to do in the world. They dont spend enough energy so it makes for hellish bed times. The first few nights on the way there were complete and utter hell and at one point I thought about just renting a car and heading back to Bellingham. I perservered at it was worth it! We had a ton of fun. We stayed mainly at KOAs and they had fun play grounds so the kids could get a little bit of that pent up energy out!
it rained so hard in Idaho...we had to pretty much go 5 miles and hour for a bit.

Prairie Dogs
We stopped at rest stop in somewhere in Montana and fed some prairie dogs (which look pretty much like squirrels) at first they were shy...I think it had something to do with the man walking next to us with a dog...but then they came out in full force. It was pretty fun to watch the girls reactions. Sydney just wanted to eat the crackers herself. She kept picking them up off the ground and would get really mad at me for taking it away from her!
Campground!
We stayed at Custer State Park in South Dakota. It was a great campsite with lots of things to do. The girls had a blast with all the kids running around to.
this was a swimming hole that we never swam in...this was right after the buffalo walked through it. Those footprints are buffalo!
They had a great little playground for the kids to play on but we only ventured over there once since there was a lot to do by our site.
