Superfranks!
This morning we went to Superfranks in Pleasanton for a playdate with the Twin Valley Mothers of Twins Club. I had never gone there on a weekday and it was all set up for toddlers. There is also this enclosed area that is a the size of a basket ball court with one wall completely made of glass. it used to be two raquetball courts. So it's cool I can put Sam in there (only $5 for 4 hours) and watch her while I play with the twins in this fun little play area. I let the twins skip the morning nap so at 11:15 Sydney started melting down so we had to leave. It was a fun morning!

nap time
we're back
Long flight...it always seems like the flight home is a bit longer for some reason. The kids were good but it's hard to hold a kid for 3 1/2 hours! Glad to be home and looking forward to sleeping in my bed with my husband! (Jon sleeps on the couch when we are in TX because the extra bed is only a double and we just dont sleep that well in such a small space!)

Waffle House
Every time we come to Houston we always have a trip to the waffle house. Today we got all the kids in the car and headed there. We walked in and as I was sanitizing the highchair Syd threw up. I mean it was a long projectile vomit, it looked fake there was so much coming out of her mouth...poor little girl. Then Sam started crying because she new we had to leave. It was not a fun few minutes. The nice waiter went and got Sam a juice box and some crackers to tide her over until she got back. When we got back to grandmothers house jon gave Sydney (and Sam) a bath while I fed Cj. Then Syd had a little bit to eat. I wanted to take Sam back to the waffle house but she wanted to go with her Daddy. The twins are napping now and I have a few minutes to myself... ahh peace and quiet!

mall day
This morning Samantha and Courtney sang and played a little music on the piano. I think Cj might end up being musically inclined. She always gravitates to the instruments whenever they are around.
all of the cousins by the ginger bread house
We went to the mall today and if I didnt know better I would have thought we were in Mexico. We got all the kids pictures taken at one of those mall picture places. They did a pretty good job. It's really hard to get a picture of 5 kids 5 and under to look at the camera at the same time but we got a couple really good shots. The kids loved playing in the big plastic tube maze with the slide and they really loved the merry go round. It is the fastest merry go round I have ever been on. At first I thought it was because we were on the top tier but then I watched it so check out the video of it. It's going so fast I bet you cant even see Samantha and her cousins. crazy fast!

Lazy Saturday
Samantha spent the day at her cousins house so it was very quiet here at Grandmothers house. The twins took great naps so we watch a movie (Next w Nicholas cage- good flick) It pretty much rained all day and it was cold there was even thunder and lighting. At one point the thunder was so loud that Sydney was a little bit confused on where the noise came from. Once everybody got over her tons of fun was had. Jon and I made Turkey tortilla soup which turned out pretty darn tasty. We had never used chipotles in adobo sauce before which gave it a bit of a kick but the sour cream toned it down.
Ryan and Samantha playing dominos...Sam is starting to get the number thing...very cool, she showed me the number 4 !

Friday Turkey Day
We had our Thanksgiving today since we flew yesterday. It's amazing how much money we saved flying on Turkey Day and coming home next week instead of the traditional week off this week. Plus yesterdays flight was so empty I think we might do it this way from now on! A good time was had by all. Great Grandparents Beresfords were a very happy surprise to us all. The turkey was moist, the stuffing was tasty and the green bean casserole was Jon's favorite!
Horsey Ride on Daddy (Uncle Jon) Cj wants in on it tooSam wants to be the horsey!
Samantha went home with Kaitlyn and Ryan (Aunt Rhonda and Uncle Ron too) for a sleepover. So much fun! She's been wanting to go since they brought it up before dinner. She even gave me a hug and a kiss about 4 hours before they left and said she loved me and she'd see me tomorrow!
