Last night I had a wonderful evening with my mom and Jill. We went and got pedicures, had chinese food and then played a fun card game...that I think is called pegs and jokers but I cant remember. I got home around 9:45 and Courtney was in her room awake and crying. I went in and laid with her but she was jsut awake so I figured I'd let her jsut figure it out that it was bed time. Jon had been going doing this since her bed time at 8. At 10:30 we finally jsut let her out and turned the tv on and she played upstairs happily. I went to bed at 11 and took her with me. I promptly fell asleep and she didnt. I woke up at 1145 and she wasnt in the bed so I went to look for her. She was downstairs with Jon. Jon finally went to bed at 1230 and she did to without a fuss. We were a little shocked that she woke up at 8:10 this morning though. She is usually our great little sleeper...

for some reason

Either I woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning or all three girls did. They are driving me nuts today. I took them up to free play at the gymnastics place to let them run around. It was crazy there...too many people but they had fun. Its jsut getting them to and from the car that drove me nuts. Courtney ran to it, Syd ran completely the wrong direction and Sam well she was as slow as a snail. I ended up picking up some KFC and went to Namys to eat our lunch. The girls ate a bit but were all over the place there too. Courtney did make us laugh though. She went to the other side of the RV and found the hose with the sprayer on it. Picked it up and started spraying it. When Namy went around the corner to get her she started spraying her. I ended up sneaking around the other side to turn the water off. She had a great big smile on her face and thought that was great fun! We had to get home so they could take their naps. Thankfully they didnt fall asleep in the car on the way home. I let them play for a little bit but jsut had to put them down for their naps. They dont sound to happy about it either but they will fall asleep! After Jon is done with work I am going to go up and hang w my mom for a bit w/o the kiddos...going to go get pedicures and some dinner. Yay!!

After school today Sam went with Namy to have a sleepover. She has been asking for one ever since we got back from Disneyland. They had an early dinner and at 7 Sam called and was mad that Namy wasnt feeding her dinner. She said they ate lunch. Silly girl. They had milk and cookies. Well at around 845 she called and said she wanted to come home. I told her no its too far and jsut to snuggle up and watch a movie with Namy. I thought that it worked but an hour later the doorbell rang and there was Sam and Namy. Namy said she wouldnt stop crying. I sent her straight to bed and now Namy says she cant have sleepovers anymore. so sad!

Uncle Lex and Aunt Leah gave the girls 100 of these ducks for their birthday. 100 is a crazy amount of ducks in the bath. Most of them are in a box under the sink, 25 is a good number! Sydney lined them all up in a row tonight!

thats how long it took Sydney, Courtney and I to walk around our block this evening. Courtney is obbsessed with all the rocks in everybodys yards. She puts them on the sroller tray for her dolly. They love to sing and dance too. very cute!

Samantha is having a sleepover at Namys tonight. (Papa is still in WA but will be coming back tomorrow...yay) She just called and said that Namy didnt feed her dinner...she took her out for an early dinner but I guess she was hungry now. They are going to have milk and cookies.

Diaper off

Coutneys big thing the past couple days is taking her diaper off and not telling me. Today she came downstairs wearing her big michelin man bathing suit and about 20 minutes later she said poop. Well since Syd tells me right after she does it I thought thats what Court was doing but nope...the poop had been in there for awhile and thats when I realized she had no diaper on. So I cleaned her up and through the suit in the wash and went upstairs to find the diaper. The diaper was next to the garbage full of poop and you can see she sat on the floor in 3 different spots trying to put the bathing suit on...oh yeah fun clean up!

This morning though she told me she had to pee and I took her dry diaper off and she peed on the potty! Funny how I was so proud for a few hours until the poop accident!

And I do think its funny that both of the girls love wearing their swim suits around the house...

When we were in Disneyland Sam got these little princess dolls. It was 4 pack, Snow White, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and Belle. She has spent hours playing with them. Today I found Snow White like this:

Last night I went to a meeting for the twins club here. (it's might disband now becasue I was the only one who had any interest in a board position and all the board memebers have been on it for 2 plus years, I'm a little bummed becasue the club in the Bay Area was so great and helpful I was hoping to be apart of something like that down here) My mom stayed with the kids. I got home around 845 and no one was asleep. Sydney and Courtney were in their beds crying and just wanted me to snuggle them to sleep and Samantha jsut wouldnt go to bed. My poor mom was rattled. The twins finally were quiet around 945 but about 1030 Syd started crying again- she fell asleep by her door and jsut needed to get back to her bed. Its so funny. I'll open the door and push her aside. She gets up and runs to her bed, crawls under the covers and goes to sleep! Sometimes if I dont lay down with her she'll run to the door again and we'll do the same thing over and over. This morning Syd woke up around 430 but I brought her back to my bed and she slept until 745 thats when Courtney woke up. So we snuggled and watched Caillou. Courtney LOVES that show, its pretty much the only one she asks for and will watch from beginning to end. Sam on the other hand didnt wake up until 10:15 lucky!

I filled up the water table this afternoon...its 81* here...for the twins to play in before their naps. They thought making sand mud was a ton of fun and playing naked was even more fun!

Disneyland - DAY 3

Our last day. We got up early so we would be there when it opened. We wanted to get in line for Tinker Bell first but by the time we got up there it was already an hour long wait and she was going on break at 11 so we went back to the Princess Fantasy Faire. I stood in line while Alyssa and Samantha got stir crazy on the tea cups then Jon went with them on the Matterhorn. They werent impressed with that ride. Its time to update that ride. We really wanted to go on Nemo Submarines but the line was always at least an hour and they didnt offer fast pass on that ride.

We waited in line to see Tinker Bell. This is Silver Mist. While we were in line she saw Alice and the Queen. Alyssa took her to see, got her to sign her Autograph book and Alice asked if she wanted to take a picture with her and Sam said "No, maybe later" We never did see her again!

We went into the interventions building where they had all these innovative computer type things. They had a little Karoke stage where Sam sang 'Happy Birthday' to this 50 year old woman named Denise. It was super cute!

At around 330 on the park got packed! It was like school got out and everybody headed to Disneyland! It wasnt any fun anymore. So we headed over to Newport Beach to the Old Spaghetti Factory for a tasty cheap meal. All and all it was a super trip. We missed the twins but they would have not liked waiting in all the lines.

Disneyland - California Adventure - DAY 2

Day 2 we headed over to California Adventure. I'd never been there before. We were a bit bummed because the big ferris wheel was not going. They are doing a major overhaul on the middle of the park and the water area was empty. Construction workers all over.

When we first got in there a bunch of the characters were out in the square. We saw Goofy and Pluto a few times but Sam didnt want to meet them. Of course she wanted to meet Minnie and Mickey!

the jelly fish ride. We were hoping that this ride would make her want to do the tower of terror but she didnt even want to go near that ride. We goofed up by callling in by its name. We got her to go into the haunted house by calling it the "Halloween House" she still didnt like it though. Didnt like the Pirates of the Caribbean either! too dark for her liking...

She kept looking over which freaked Alyssa out!

California Screamin'
Samantha was about 6 inches to short for this super fun twisty rollercoaster. She got to ride King Tritans merry go round a few times while the tall ones took there turns (we fast passed so the wait asnt too long)

We also did Soarin over California. Which Sam thought was really cool. We flew over all the fun places in CA and they even gave us the smells...oceans and orange fields

it was all about Minnies surprise birthday party. Handy Manny, Little Einsteins, and Winnie the Pooh all helped Donald, Goofy and Daisy figure out how to do their part of the surprise. It was really cute!

After the parade we went Disneyland. Alyssa and Sam road Astro Orbitor while Jon and I road on Star Wars. Then we took the train around the park and wenton Thunder Mountain Railroad together again. We left the park got Red Robin to go then went back to the hotel for a soak in the hot tub to end the day!
