the zoo

Yesterday we packed up most of the kids (poor Syd was sick with the stomach flu so she spent the day w Namy and Papa) and headed over to the Phoenix zoo. A fun time was had by all!

Just outside of the zoo is a big pond with lots of turtles

which the kids thought were fascinating

of course they had to go on the merry go round first thing. Courtney wanted to go on at first then freaked out so we got off and watched them go by. Then she kept pointing to it and saying "on on on" it was to late!

We got lost ;) so the girls had to get the map out to see where we were!

we did take the train thing around the park so we got to see alot of it but we sure didnt walk through much of it, this zoo is rather large!
