mud

we spent the afternoon playing in the crab pool and the girls ended up getting the lid full of water. Jon didnt notice when he emptied the crab so while he was BBQ up some turkey burgers he let the girls play...and of course they went straight for the water and the MUD. They didnt like the mud very much!

Bath time

Last night was like every night. We put all the girls in the tub, let them play for a bit, wash them then we get Courtney and Sydney out and all dressed in their jammies. We leave Sam in the tub for a little alone time. She loves to take her dollies in the tub with her and most of the time the lil ones bug her (ie take her toys away from her) so it works out. Well last night I got syd and court all dried, lotioned up and jammies on. we were playing their room and I noticed the bedskirt on Courtneys bed was all messed up so I crawled under there and was fixing it when all of a sudden I hear Sam yelling "the babies, the babies" I get out from under the crib as fast as I could and run into the bathroom... The girls had climbed in the tub and they both had big ol smiles on my face. Soaking wet but very happy! UGH!~ Didnt get the camera fast enough...but here's Syd!

swim lessons

Sams May swim lessons are over. We went every M and W (except we went today since they were closed on Monday) Every class she got better and better. Today was the best day yet. Next week she goes M-Th for 2 weeks. She'll be swimming on her own before we know, our little mermaid! For a special treat they got to go down the big slide! Very exciting for all of them! I have been trying to get Sam and Courts bangs trimmed for the past couple weeks. Today I finally broke down and did it myself. I figured if I did a bad job I would take them tomorrow for sure. It didnt turn out that bad! I wasnt planning on doing Sams but she was so excited watching me cut Courts hair that she wanted hers done. Courtney just sat there patiently and let me do it. It was a very easy experience. And Syd cried because she didnt get a turn. I wrapped a towel around them to catch the hair and after we were all done Sydney was following me around crying and holding the towel. I'm not that good and she doesnt need a trim.

sleepover

On Tuesday Jessica spent the afternoon with us. She and Sam were bummed that her mom came and got her so we promised she could sleep over the next night. So yesterday morning at around 7 am Sam woke up and said she was ready to go get Jessica for her sleepover. She was a tad bit bummed when I told her we had to go to swim lessons (she's doing really well, swimming on one of those noodle things-she doesnt like to do it but she doing it!) and the splash pad park After the morning fun we went and picked up Jess and they had a great afternoon together. Reading, coloring and playing in the crab pool. After dinner I gave them each a piece of the never ending chocolate cake and Jessica said "Today is the best day ever, I wish I could have chocolate cake every night" With the rate we have been eating this cake we can! Kim came over for an hour or so to visit towards bedtime. It sure was nice to chat with my best friend, we hardly ever just visit.She is always out with us house hunting so its nice not to do anything! The girls were happy because I had bought "Barbies Mariposa!" movie. This mornign we ended up going to the Mcd's for breakfast and some playtime. Then Sam spent the day at Kims house because I finally broke down and hired a cleaning lady...the girls just werent doing a good enough job!

Sure is nice to have a nice clean house...even though it will only last a day, the floor is mopped and vacuumed and it smells clean!

SOLD!

We finally sold the house and the money is in the bank! Wahoo!! We sure miss the area but we are starting a new chapter here in the desert! Life is an adventure and we sure are enjoying the trip!

Wildlife World Zoo

We went to the Wildlife World Zoo today. It's a great little zoo that we hadnt been to yet. Sam of course loved the rides. They had a merry go round, train and a boat ride. They also had a great play ground that they all loved. Plus they had some great animals. Lots of babies. we packed a little picnic and had a great time! The girls even fed a deer. sam wasnt to thrilled about the idea but she at least tried. It's Alexa Kays birthday today so we sang to her through out the park...Happy 21st akl

I think my downfall in life is chocolate (and ice cream!) I never was a sweets person until I got pregnant with Sam and ever since then I am all about dessert, especially chocolate...good thing we are going to the gym regularly...today we went to Costco and got one of those tasty chocolate cakes...yummy!

Sunday Morning

Since it rained really hard the other day the crab sandbox (no sand) was full of rain water and Sydney thought it was a great pool so she jumped in with pjs on...thats how the day started. We ended up getting swim suits on and putting fresh water into the crab, our new cool pool we got last week got a big hole in the bottom so it's a good thing we havent put sand in the crabbox. They sure love to slide and get wet.



This afternoon Rachel (Kims 12 yr old) came over while the twins napped and played with Sam. So Jon and I went to see Indiana Jones. I give it 2 thumbs up...if you like far fetched out of this world action adventures this movie is for you!
