it rained today

Sam wanted to go swimming once the twins went down for a nap at the pool across the street. It was cold today (78*) so I wasnt going to get in the pool...this pool isnt heated at all so it's always chilly. When we stepped outside it was raining! yes, raining... a very strange sight to see here in the desert! Sam still wanted to go so after we went to the backyard and we picked up all the stuff we didnt want to get wet we went. It stopped raining once we got there so Sam was happy. She sure loves the water she just doesnt like to go under. She did practice blowing bubbles and if we would have remembered her goggles she got the other day I bet she would have tried to go under. She wore them in the tub last night and dunked her head. Progress~ She will be taking them to swim class tomorrow...maybe that will help!
