swim lessons...

Today was Sams first day of swim lessons at the YMCA. She was so excited to become a mermaid! She got in the pool and did the first exercise with my and Alyssas (she is down for a little visit) encouraging but then she cried and got out. I tried to bribe her with a sprinkle donut afterwards and Alyssa even bribed her with a treat, no luck! I made her sit by the pool though and watch the rest of the class. The teacher asked her if she wanted to do each exercise and she cried no and told me that she wanted to be a baby! Jon thinks she was just a little freaked out by the big pool, we have never gone it before, so sometime between now and Weds morning we'll take her there and swim with her. Hopefully we'll have better luck at weds class!
