Happy Halloween!This afternoon we drove up to Walmart to get a few pumpkins. I wanted to take the kids to a pumpkin patch but I cant find any nearby that is free to wander into. Most of them want $6 or $7 (each) just to step into the patch and then having to buy 3 pumpkins would have been a bank breaker! (I did hear of a few that are an hour or so away so maybe one of these weekends we'll go for a ride) Tonight we carved the pumpkins. The girls had so much fun. Jon was an excellent carver. Samantha wanted a princess, (Alyssa brough back these sparkly jewels that made it look extra special) Sydney wanted a pirate and Courtney wanted a scary one. Well Jon did the princess and the pirate while I did the traditional pumpkin (not scary but Courtney liked it anyways)
