Happy Father's Day!

We let Jon sleep in the morning. Sam really wanted to wake him up though. He finally rolled out of bed ay 9:45. He spent the morning working in the yard. We went to Kennedy park for a picnic this afternoon. It's a fun park with a carousel, a train that goes around the whole park, a bouncy house and even a petting zoo. Sam had a blast running around and loved jumping in the bounce house. She went on the carousel but she sat on the bench. Silly girl! We made it home for nap time but Sam refused again to go to sleep. I tried the leave her in her bedroom routine which worked yesterday but after an hour - it was 4 by then- I gave in and got her. She played really hard after that, ran around the backyard and went swimming in her little pool with Daddy. Since she didnt nap it made for a very early bed time! We didnt want her to fall asleep like this at 6:45. She didnt even eat dinner tonight! I bet she's is going to wake up early and very hungry!
